Villaggio at San Luis Obispo, a Life Plan Community currently under planning and development, has launched its first community project, “School Supplies for Little Scholars,” providing a 30-day school supply donation initiative for Grover Beach Elementary School in Grover Beach, Calif.
From now through August 27, Villaggio is collecting school supplies such as notebooks, pencils and binders at its Information Center located at 1503 Froom Ranch Way in San Luis Obispo.
In late August, Villaggio Members will help organize donated supplies and prepare for delivery to the elementary school. The volunteer work session will take place and provides a great opportunity to become involved in the local community and meet the Villaggio Volunteer core team.
This school donation project is the first of many organized by the Villaggio Volunteer Group whose mission is to support and give back to the San Luis Obispo community.
Villaggio is being designed as a Mediterranean Village which will facilitate living life to the fullest with expansive amenities and life-enriching activities and programs. The Life Plan Community will feature an open-air design with a central piazza and offer residents an inclusive lifestyle full of choices for living lives to the fullest.
Amenities will include a performing arts auditorium, multiple dining options, swimming pool, wellness and fitness center, movie theater, creative arts studio, community gardens, and nearby hiking trails. The community will also offer life-enrichment focused programming and education, recreational, social, physical fitness, environmental and spiritual activities and events.
