California State Parks is seeking volunteers to help-out with the Islay Campground Trash and Recycle Bin location project at Montana de Oro State Park, this coming Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This will be the 21st year that the Earth Day Restoration and Clean-up event has been hosted by the California State Parks Foundation.

All volunteers are welcome! Volunteers should come prepared to work outside with appropriate sun and clothing protection as well as refillable water bottles. All tools and equipment needed for the work will be supplied. Morning coffee and snacks will be provided by Pete’s Coffee and Fruit Guys and afternoon sandwiches by Subway.

California State Parks encourage everyone to join us on this important occasion, to do your part to restore and care for the places where we live, work and play for this and future generations. We look forward to enhancing the beauty and visitor experience of Montana de Oro State Park and to all the helping hands on April 13.
