Wacker Wealth Partners is proud to announce that InvestmentNews magazine has selected the financial advisory firm as one of the 2021 Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors.

Seventy-five firms were selected nationwide for the fourth annual listing, which InvestmentNews covered in its March 1 magazine issue and online.

In selecting Wacker Wealth Partners, InvestmentNews cited flexible schedules that help promote a balanced life, as well as team-building excursions and staff events, such as bowling, archery, and art.

“The company applies its ‘Client’s First’ values to its employees and creates a positive, encouraging atmosphere,” InvestmentNews wrote in its profile of the San Luis Obispo firm

InvestmentNews even used a Zoom screen share of all our team members, which I love,” said Chief Executive Officer Ryan Caldwell, CFP®. “I think it represents that even though the pandemic may have physically separated us, we’ve been together in spirit. If anything, COVID-19 has strengthened our partnership as a team.”

InvestmentNews cited the firm’s handling of COVID-19 health precautions, including an in-office work policy that clearly outlines expectations for office density, masking, office sterilization, and ramifications for engaging in different risk level activities. Wacker Wealth Partners also holds all internal and client meetings on Zoom.

In addition, the magazine cited a charitable gift-matching program and paid-time-off policy for volunteering in its profile of the Registered Investment Advisory firm.

“As a member of Wacker Wealth Partners for over 22 years, I’ve helped our firm grow from four employees in 1999 to 21 employees today, and I’ve witnessed the collective power of a great team,” said Chief Operating Officer Bryan Krill, CFP®.  “One of our guiding principles is ‘Work Together,’ and the word ‘Partners’ in our name not only speaks to our partnership with our clients, but with each other.”

Krill added: “Our team approach is very much intentional and embedded in our DNA. So, I’m especially proud of this award because it acknowledges all the hard work that goes into building a healthy team culture.”

InvestmentNews conducted the selection process with employee survey firm Best Companies Group. The winners were selected from a two-part survey completed by employers and employees.

“Employers report their organization’s workplace policies, practices and demographics, and employees complete a survey designed to measure the employee experience,” InvestmentNews reported. “Scores from the employee survey represent three-quarters of the weight of the final rankings.”

Said Caldwell: “We believe that we can best care for our clients by caring for the team, and we think the 2021 Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors award exemplifies this.”
