Wallace Group expanded its pool of experts in recent weeks to assist with its growing departments of Civil and Transportation, Public Works Administration and Geographic Information System Solutions.
Ben Jensen traveled all the way from Boise, Idaho to take his new position as engineer with Wallace Group’s Civil and Transportation Department. He has a strong background in roadway geometric design, which he earned through a wide range of experience from local rural road improvements to interstate improvements in Utah and Idaho. Jensen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Brigham Young University.
Jasmine Diaz came to Wallace Group highly recommended by the City of San Luis Obispo, where she worked as an executive administrative assistant to the director of the Utilities Department. She is the newest engineering associate in Wallace Group’s growing Public Works Administration Department and will be working on the firm’s Fats, Oil and Grease programs as well as other regulatory market efforts. She is currently in the process of completing her hours to earn her Grade 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator certification. Diaz is a Cal Poly graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering.
Alma Gormley is the most recent hire in the Survey and GIS Solutions Department. She has an extensive background in Transportation and Utility GIS and digital terrain modeling. Gormley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in geography with a concentration in GIS and cartography from Southwest Texas State University.
