Jano Graphics more than impressed the judges at the 2013 Print Excellence Competition, winning two Best Category awards and taking home the overall Best of Division award at the 9th Annual PIASC Graphics Night held over the weekend at The Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA.

The company earned Best of Category awards for Product Catalog (4 or more colors) and for a Self Promotion brochure, which featured multiple paper stocks, finishings, and coatings. The Best of Division award was given for having the highest cumulative score in the division.

The PIASC Print Excellence competition promotes excellence in print and rewards companies who produce the best in print communications. The judging panel was made up of a team of distinguished professionals from the graphic arts industry chosen for their extensive knowledge of the printing process. Judging procedures are based on the technical merit of the entry. To come out on top, an entry must display perfection, embodying end-to-end flawlessness in print production.

“Winning these awards speaks to the strength of our team and the versatility of our company,” said Jano Graphics’ General Manager Fred Jannone. “This is a real testament to the perfection we strive to bring our clients every day.”

PIASC will submit the Best of Category winning entries to the Printing Industry of America’s National Premier Print Awards competition. The winners of Premier Print Awards will be announced at PRINT13 in Chicago this October.
