Which Assembly committee has the biggest impact on our region and why?

Transportation and agriculture. Transportation is critical for roads, commuters and public transport connecting SLO to the north and south. Agriculture is vital to the wine industry that SLO county is famous for that provides many jobs both directly and indirectly.

If elected, what will you do to address the issue you identified above as most significant?

Via the budget process steer more transportation and infrastructure funds to our region and ease some of the unnecessary regulations that our agricultural community has to live by.

Do you think the state government is doing enough to support housing in our region? If not, what would you do to change it?

State can surely do more, especially in the area of cequa reform and lawsuit abuse.

Which theme in the Chamber’s economic vision, Imagine SLO, do you think deserves the most focus in the next four years and why?
