The women of The Monday Club are hosting their annual Autumn Tea in the Garden to be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at The Monday Club 1815 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo, CA. The historic clubhouse was designed by renowned Hearst Castle architect, Julia Morgan. Ladies and gentlemen of all ages are welcome.
Enjoy a vintage afternoon strolling the gardens, admiring the historic building and shopping in the garden boutique. Entertainment will be provided by the Shank Quartet, a group of young string players who are all members of the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony. Traditional tea fare will be served. Each table will be set by a Monday Club member.
Tickets are $30 for general admission and $20 for children (12 and under). Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the historic building and grounds.
The Monday Club SLO was formed in November of 1924, when representatives of two local women’s clubs joined together with a mission to “Enhance the educational, civic, social and cultural quality of the San Luis Obispo community.” Please consider joining them for this event as they celebrate the past, present and future of San Luis Obispo!
