The free two-day festival will be held at the Madonna Expo Center from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 2. Cal Poly Wind Bands Spring Concert: All Hail, Green And Gold!
The Cal Poly Wind Orchestra and Wind Ensemble will present a program that includes the return of more than 70 of its Cal Poly alumni musicians. First assembled in 2016, the Alumni Symphonic Band is comprised of Cal Poly alumni spanning the decades. Works programmed for this concert include David Maslanka's "A Child's Garden of Dreams" and Frank Ticheli's "Blue Shades."
