During the month of September, Gino’s Pizza, together with the Red Cross of SLO, helped to raise money to relieve the hardship of the victims of the Soberanes and Chimney fires.
On the last two Sundays of September, Gino’s Pizza donated 10 percent of its gross sales to the victims of those fires.
“We have seen firefighters coming to the town and they have worked so hard to help control this fire, we felt we had to do something on our part.” – Consuelo Diaz, owner of Gino’s Pizza
Locals responded to the call by ordering deliveries, pickups and dine ins. As a local business this is what Gino’s wants to see in its community. Helping each other in hard times.
Gino’s Pizza, a local family owned restaurant dedicates a percentage of their Sunday’s sales to different organizations around San Luis Obispo. Called “Gino’s Community Dough Days” this gives these organizations an opportunity to raise funds for their cause.
