On Saturday June 20, Cycletribe and lululemon athletica of SLO will be hosting the first INSPIRE Ride to benefit the Women’s Shelter Program of SLO.
Two Spin classes will be held in the front patio space of the lululemon showroom at 547 Marsh St in downtown San Luis Obispo.
There is a $20 donation for the 45 minute classes and each rider will receive a Swag Bag valued at more than $100 and be entered into a drawing to receive a complete lululemon athletica outfit valued at $300. All proceeds will go to the Women’s Shelter Program of San Luis Obispo. Online sign up for the classes and additional information is at www.CycletribeSLO.com.
“When we opened our studio our goal was to create a community of riders that are actively involved in creating a better life for themselves and supporting those around them in the same goal,” Jayme Brunson, co-owner of Cycletribe said. “With fun, healthy and unique Spin class settings, our INSPIRE rides help fulfill those goals and raise much needed donations for our local charities. Our future rides may involve locations like piers, mountain tops and vineyards, we are very excited about all the possibilities and the tremendous support we have already received.”
Holly Stevenson, manager of lululemon sums up their involvement with the INSPIRE Ride concept; “We are so thrilled to partner with Cycletribe in the creation of innovative, community-based philanthropic events. Community partnership is at the core of Lululemon and together we are able to rally people for a common cause and create a habit of giving back by supporting those in need.”
Opening in March 2014, Cycletribe is San Luis Obispo’s first dedicated Spinning® Studio. Renovating a former industrial space has created a unique, warm and welcoming environment for fun, energetic classes. Jayme and John Brunson, a wife and husband team, are both Certified Spin Instructors and teach classes weekly. Both are also Integrative Nutrition Counselors and do Health Coaching on site. Cycletribe is located at 285 Buchon St. in San Luis Obispo.
