After 43 years at the helm of Albert’s Florist, Barkev and Tzolig Abadjian have decided to embark on a new adventure – retirement. The Abadjians, who have been the heart and soul of Albert’s Florist since December 1980, have announced their intention to step back and entrust the shop’s legacy to new owners.

Albert’s Florist has been a fixture in the San Luis Obispo community since 1948 (75 years), and Barkev and Tzolig have played a pivotal role in its continued success over the years. Their dedication to quality and exceptional customer service has made Albert’s Florist a cherished institution.

“We are profoundly grateful for the incredible journey we’ve shared with the San Luis Obispo community,” said Barkev Abadjian. “This decision comes with mixed emotions, but we trust that Albert’s Florist will continue to thrive for another 75 years under the new owners.”

Tzolig Abadjian added, “We’re excited to see what the future holds for Albert’s Florist and look forward to staying connected to the community we love so much!”

Albert’s Florist extends its appreciation to Barkev and Tzolig for their contributions to the community and the world of flowers. The San Luis Obispo community is invited to join in celebrating their retirement and 75 Years of Albert’s Florist in San Luis Obispo on Friday November 3 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at 1357 Monterey St.
