Lindsey Harn, Realtors Circle Member.

Lindsey Harn has reached her 10 year anniversary with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She started her involvement as a Cal Poly intern and continued on through the AmeriCorps program creating fundraisers on behalf of the youth mentoring organization. After becoming a Realtor with Re/Max Del Oro, Lindsey joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters Realtor’s Circle donating $50 from each transaction as well as sponsoring their Big Event Wine tasting and Auction. Her donations recently totaled $30,000.

Executive Director Anny Boyd-Bucy said “Lindsey Harn’s contributions through the Realtor’s Circle help us provide children facing adversity with positive mentoring experiences. We thank Lindsey for a decade of support.”

Lindsey hit the personal milestone of selling 100 homes annually in 2016 and said “Children are in great need of supportive relationships with caring adults. It is this reason I am proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. Helping youth realize their potential not only changes lives but enriches our community as a whole.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters:

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Most children they serve are in single-parent, low-income families or in households where a parent is incarcerated. As a part of the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, they make meaningful, monitored friendships between adult volunteers and children. Funding provides for a system of ongoing evaluation and support that is proven by independent studies to help families by improving the odds that participating children will perform better in school, avoid violence and illegal activities, and have stronger relationships with their parents and others.
