Pacific Eye would like to donate $10,000 to local non-profit organizations through its seventh annual Pacific Eye Gives Back Challenge. The challenge is all about honoring the exceptional organizations that make a positive impact on the Central Coast.

After a record number of nominations received from community members (over 1,200!), the following 10 organizations were selected by Pacific Eye to move on to the voting round of this year’s contest:

Community members can vote for their charity of choice one of three ways starting Monday, October 29 through Thanksgiving Day, November 22:

Participants may vote once per day for the duration of the contest. The organization with the most votes will receive a $5,000 donation; second place will receive $2,250; third place will receive $1,000. Pacific Eye will donate $250 to each of the remaining organizations in the contest.

By year-end, Pacific Eye will have donated $65,000 to local non-profits throughout San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties since the inaugural contest in 2012. For additional information, visit Pacific Eye’s website or email Rob Thielscher at [email protected].
