About Picking Daisies: Cal Poly Graduates and sisters, Kay Porczak and Dede Bruington opened Picking Daisies in downtown San Luis Obispo’s Creamery shopping and restaurant complex 10 years ago. The original focus was on the sales and manufacture of cotton napkins. Over the years, Picking Daisies has expanded their focus to also include the sales of fabric and supplies for quilters, sewing enthusiasts, embroiders, and other needle-art crafters.
