Partners in Equestrian TherapyOn Friday, October 23, PARTNERS IN EQUESTRIAN THERAPY (PET), a riding program that teaches riding skills to individuals with disabilities, would like to invite you for a fun day of golf at the beautiful Monarch Dunes Golf Club, Nipomo, CA.  You will be playing the well-known Challenge Course (12 holes), entering the Putting Contest with a few horsey hazards, receive a Goody Bag, enter raffles for many unique gifts and have a delicious lunch provided by the excellent chef at the Butterfly Grille.  The Wall of Wine raffle will finish off the day with the winner taking home at least 80 bottles of fine, local wine.

Partners in Equestrian Therapy will use donations for the purchase and care of their wonderful equine (board, feed & supplements, veterinary & farrier expenses), helmets, saddles (and other necessary horse & teaching equipment), ramps, insurance, PATH membership and 2 PATH Certified Instructors.

PET works with students from 2- 60+  with multiple abilities & disabilities… autism, MS, mental retardation,  CP, dwarfism, ADHD, communication & processing disorders, Down Syndrome and includes Veterans and their families. Benefits can include improved socialization, motor planning, spatial orientation, multi-tasking, hand-eye coordination, sequencing, flexibility, confidence, strength, empowerment, independence, speech, balance & self-esteem.  Please come to our table to learn more about our program and the benefits of Therapeutic Riding.  And don’t forget to give “Hope” a pat on the 12th hole!
