With a hot summer ahead, now is the time to prepare landscapes to be fire safe. Join Ted Mathiesen from Cal Fire at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden on Saturday July 15 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. to learn best practices for installing a landscape to keep a house and yard safe. Learn design basics, planting techniques, and professional advice to make the Central Coast yard lean, clean, and green. Presentation is followed by a free docent-led tour of the Garden at 2 p.m.
