Join the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden for their Fall Fundraising Plant Sale on Saturday, October 19, from 10 AM to 1 PM to find unique, drought-tolerant plants that are perfect for your yard. Join them “behind-the-scenes” at the Greenhouse facilities where an incredible selection of plants grown by their volunteers will be available for purchase. All plants will be tax free to the public, and Garden Members will receive an additional 10% off!

Don’t forget to grab a free cup of coffee to sip on while you “talk garden”! This is a great opportunity to learn more about your climate region and see a multitude of plant species that thrive in our environment. San Luis Obispo is in one of the five mediterranean climate zones spread throughout the world, and you will find plants from these zones showcased in the beautifully landscaped garden. Plants from these mediterranean zones are well suited to the local climate and are drought resistant, so be sure to wander through the Garden to get inspiration for your own landscaping!

About San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden
San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden is celebrating its 30th year of sowing seeds and growing together. The Garden is located at 3450 Dairy Creek Rd. It is spread out on 150 acres in El Chorro Regional Park off Highway 1 between Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo. When the master plan is complete, the Garden will be the only garden of its kind in the United States exclusively devoted to the ecosystems and plants of the five Mediterranean climate regions of the world. Through its programs and facilities, the Garden fosters an appreciation and understanding of the relationship between people and nature and encourages a sense of stewardship for the natural environment.
