SESLOC Federal Credit Union has scheduled a new presentation as part of its free wealth management seminar series. “Social Security Savvy” will help soon-to-be retirees reap the full rewards of their Social Security contributions. This seminar will be presented at the SESLOC headquarters in San Luis Obispo on June 15 and at the Atascadero Library on June 16. Both seminars are from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
Presenter Kathleen Shipley, AIG Divisional Vice President, has more than a decade of financial industry experience and will help attendees understand financial planning tools available to Social Security recipients. AIG Life and Retirement focuses on protection, investment and income solutions and offers products including annuities, life insurance and mutual funds.
Geri LaChance, SESLOC president/CEO said the wealth management seminars are offered to help SESLOC members with important financial decisions. “We believe sound money management begins with education, and we are pleased to offer programs on a range of financial topics to help in that process,” she said.
Nearly 200 people have attended similar seminars since the start of the year. SESLOC’s San Luis Obispo headquarters is located at 3807 Broad Street. The Atascadero Library is located at 6555 Capistrano Avenue.
