The annual list honors outstanding female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors, solution providers and other women prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their successes and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward.

This year’s Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel. Amy and the other honorees will celebrate at an awards ceremony at the Hyatt in San Francisco on June 3.

A 20-year veteran of the technology industry, Amy is a co-founder of Clever Ducks, an IT consulting firm with its new 5,000 sf office on Broad Street in San Luis Obispo.  She is a board member of CompTIA, the global IT industry trade association. She focuses her efforts improving small business with technology, initiatives to bring more women into the IT workforce and lobbying for small business. Amy is a frequent speaker at seminars and workshops across the country on IT.  She also speaks to high school and college students about careers in technology. She is also active in the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo de Tolosa and the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce. A mother of four, she is married to Peter Kardel, CEO of Clever Ducks.
