SLO Partners are recruiting local businesses all over San Luis Obispo County to partner in the fifth year of the “Just 1” campaign. Every high school district will hold a Career Opportunity event in the spring. Help inspire future careers and grow local talent by interviewing high school students with the intent of offering “just 1” student a career opportunity. Some possible opportunities are: a one-day job shadow, a paid or unpaid internship, an industry mentor, or a part-time job. The opportunities can be tailored to individual needs. Last year over 400 students interviewed countywide with over 100 businesses large and small. SLO Partners’ goal this year is to connect even more businesses with students.
