The Boys & Girls Club of South San Luis Obispo County serves over 300 members (ages five to 18) by providing before and after school enrichment programs and a Teen Center. The services are focused in the five city’s areas.
The Boys & Girls Club presents a casual evening – Starry Skies and Fireflies Dinner and Auction on March 19 at the South County Regional Center. Enjoy an evening of wild animals, tents, big bears and great food. Wear your shorts and hiking shoes for a relaxed evening of fun with friends. After being greeted by some exotic animals courtesy of the Pacific Wildlife Care of Morro Bay you will see and hear the sights and sounds of your campsite in the woods. Join in camp songs lead by our Boys & Girls Club members, and say hello to Smokey the Bear. Visit the outpost bar, bid in the auction and enjoy terrific campfire food like beef and rosemary pot roast, chili beans and a s’mores bar.
“I recently joined the Boys & Girls Club of South San Luis Obispo County and I am impressed by the great work that has been achieved. Providing outstanding programs for the benefit of our local children is our focus. Your support is how we make our community thrive and grow. Thank you for the support that’s made it all possible!” Executive Director Beth Raub said.
All funds raised will stay in the South County and support your local Boys & Girls Club of South SLO County.
