In response to financial hardships created by COVID-19, The Community Foundation has increased support and made grants available earlier to respond to the needs of the region. Additionally, unless otherwise mentioned all grants will be unrestricted.
The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County grants program provides a diverse range of opportunities for nonprofit organizations that directly address community needs identified by local assessments.
“In addition to making these grants available earlier, our Board of Directors has made an unprecedented allocation of $500,000 to support the region’s nonprofits during this difficult time,” said Heidi McPherson, CEO, The Community Foundation. “We are honored to support San Luis Obispo County nonprofits that are making an impact during this pandemic.”
