Delicious tri-tip dinners will help raise funds on July 26 to build clean water projects in villages around the world.

Cannon’s 7th annual Well Worth It Campaign features a drive-through barbecue, located at 1050 Southwood Drive, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The meals, which feed 4 to 5 people, include a whole barbecued trip-tip, bread and salad, for just $45. If you don’t live or work in San Luis Obispo, deliveries are available from Paso Robles to Santa Maria.

Cannon, comprised of engineers, planners and surveyors, created the Well Worth It Campaign in 2010; it was created to raise awareness and provide funds, in order to provide clean drinkable water to some of the world’s poorest communities.

To date, the campaign has raised more than $100,000 in funds and has built more than 20 wells in places throughout Africa and Asia. The Well Worth It Campaign has also provided dinners to more than 225 Central Coast families and veterans.

If you wish to donate your meal, Cannon is partnering with the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County (CAPSLO) and the Vets Center to donate dinners to local families and veterans in need.
