IdentoGO, an official partner of the Transportation Security Administration, will be onsite at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport this month to help travelers register for the “TSA PreCheck” program. PreCheck is an expedited security screening program that allows members to keep on light jackets, shoes and belts during the airport security process, as well as to keep their laptops and compliant liquids in their bag.

IdentoGO’s mobile enrollment RV will be in the airport parking lot January 22 – February 1. There will be several appointment opportunities for travelers to apply:

  • January 22 – 31, 2019 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Closed Saturday & Sunday)
  • February 1, 2019 from 9 a.m. – Noon

To enroll, attendees must bring a government-issued photo ID with proof of U.S. Citizenship (i.e., a passport or birth certificate—names on documents must match exactly) and complete a 10-minute fingerprinting process.

For more information, or to book an appointment, visit universalenroll.dhs.gov and select San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport as your location.

TSA PreCheck memberships are valid at airports across the country. While the San Luis Obispo Airport doesn’t currently have a separate PreCheck lane, it does make accommodations for PreCheck passengers by permitting them to keep on coats, shoes and belts during the checkpoint process.
