Cal Poly Arts kicks off February with two exciting events at the Performing Arts Center. Join master guitarist Dan Zanes and jazz vocalist Claudia Eliaza in some fan-favorites and children classics, and violinist Joshua Bellas, as he performs a few classical pieces.

cal poly arts On Saturday, February 2 at 2 p.m., Cal Poly Arts presents Grammy Award-winner Dan Zanes and Haitian-American jazz vocalist Claudia Eliaza in a spirited children’s musical concert that features traditional beloved songs as well as the children’s music of folk icon Lead Belly. The show will be highly interactive, as the audience will be invited to sing along in what might be called a casual – and subversively educational – party atmosphere. The music, based in a variety of folk traditions, is homespun, sophisticated and artful. This concert is kid-friendly and ideal for ages 3+.

Tickets for student and adult are $18 and $36 respectively. All students and child tickets are currently priced at 50 percent off.

cal poly arts On Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. Grammy winner Joshua Bell returns to the Performing Arts Center stage with his touring accompanist, accomplished pianist Sam Haywood.
