e-InsiderOn the heels of hosting a sold-out Sixel Airports Conference for analysts and airline route planners, the SLO County Regional Airport is reported to be one of several regional airports in contention for increased air service from the Pacific North West. In an increasingly competitive environment, where regional planes and pilots are few and far between, the SLO airport is asking for community support in gathering data to show that SLO is in need of, and can sustain, additional air service. This information is critical to getting additional flights in and out of SLO as the data will be the differentiator between locations.
